Special Meeting Agenda

Monday, October 4, 2021

Meeting follows Club Board Meeting on Zoom at ~6:30 pm

1. The Club Board would like to see the following funded:
   
   1. Christmas Angels Gift Trees –Champion & Chair Nancy.Request to fund at the same level and to use Golf Tournament and District Grant to offset expenses. Action required. || Analysis of past years’ spending and confusion by patrons regarding how much to spend netted a decision that angel cards would include a note that each gift should be between $10 and $20.  Keleigh will pass this along to Lynn.  || Motion by Brad; Seconded by Mark: Release $4,000 PRF funds + $1,000 DDI Grant funds for a total budget of $5,000 with an opening to come back to the board for an increase via email vote.  APPROVED with abstention by Nancy

   2. Shop With A Cop –Champion & Chair Nancy.Request to fund at the same level and to use Golf Tournament and District Grant to offset expenses. Action required. || Motion by Brad; Seconded by Paul: Release $1,000 PRF funds + $1,000 DDI Grant funds for a total budget of $2,000 for a traditional program, with an opening to come back to the board in November if a Covid-redesigned program is advised.  APPROVED with abstention by Nancy  || Note the Covid Strike Force was made available for additional funding.

   3. Shoeboxes of Joy.  Nancy reported she has attempted to contact the group through multiple means of communication but has not been succcessful in receiving a reply.  The matter is now tabled.
